About the role

As a Security Officer at a transportation-related ship repair location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation and marine repair location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, work areas, buildings, parking areas, gates, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and check credentials for employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions through accurate reports and shift logs.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$24.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
