Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support compliance with location rules for controlled access areas.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or first responders during routine operations or critical situations, while following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
