Job Description
As a Security Officer Security Clearance Operations in Mascoutah, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and/or concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
- Support compliance with access control, confidentiality, and protection-of-property procedures in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
