Security Officer - Security

About the role

Ensures the safety and security of guests, employees, buildings, and contents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Monitor facilities for unauthorized access and potential hazards.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in evacuations as needed.
• Interact with guests and employees to maintain a safe environment.
• Perform routine patrols and inspections of assigned areas.
• Handle and manage security incidents according to established protocols.
• Train new employees on security procedures and best practices.

Requirements

• Coursework/Training: AVADE I/II within 30 to 150 days of hire.
• Coursework/Training: Foam Pepper Spray training.
• Upon hire: California Security Guard Registration.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year of Security experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include coursework/training, registration, and experience as outlined above.

Skills

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.77 per hour. Additional compensation may be available.

Schedule

This position works 8-hour, Day/Evening shifts.
