Responsibilities
- Provide protection and security for facility personnel, patients, visitors, and property through security and safety patrols.
- Crisis intervention.
- Investigation into minor crimes and accidents.
- Serving as a visual deterrent to potential problem situations.
- Participate in safety programs.
- Support all departments.
Requirements
- High School or equivalent.
- Current Hawaii Security Guard Registration (GDE) License.
- Current American Heart Association Heartsaver-AED or BLS Card.
Qualifications
- International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Basic Healthcare Security Officer Training Certificate to be obtained within one year of hire.
- Teamwork Awareness Prevention Course to be attended within one (1) year of hire.
- Hospital security experience preferred.
