Security Officer Secure Entry Operations

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology and entertainment studio location in Albuquerque, NM. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, assist visitors, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This is a full-time position in a collaborative team that values agility, reliability, innovation, caring, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a studio and media production location.
• Control access by verifying identification and credentials for employees, production personnel, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors.
• Manage visitor entry, issue authorized access credentials, maintain access records, and direct guests to approved areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, report unauthorized access attempts, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working conditions varying by assignment.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.00 per hour.
