About the role

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Indianapolis, IN. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Bring a reliable, agile, and caring approach while working as part of a team with integrity to support a secure environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
