Security Officer - Secret Clearance

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and/or perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns and report conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized entry while following site protocols and posted instructions.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, observing operational conditions, and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location procedures.

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
