Security Officer - Second Shift - Miller Parkway

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor entry points, manage access control procedures, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, managing access points, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
• Monitor entrances, credentials, visitor logs, and deliveries to help control access to the property and report unusual activity to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to post procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting maintenance concerns, unsecured entry points, and other security-related issues.
• Assist with badge checks, visitor processing, and tenant inquiries while helping to support emergency response activities and business continuity procedures as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
