What You'll Do

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility operations location.
Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, access activity, and other operational notifications; promptly report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.
Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident documentation, and shift reports in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas and the perimeter, as assigned, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Minimum Requirements

Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
