Job Description

As a Security Officer Seasoned Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and/or address questions or concerns while supporting posted rules and location protocols.
• Work closely with local personnel, transit staff, and/or public agencies during routine operations and escalated events, following established communication and response procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
