Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and facility personnel by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and Allied Universal policies at the location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal items entering or leaving the facility in accordance with post instructions, and report unusual findings or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting appropriate emergency response activities when needed.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorized access, and help to deter unauthorized activity within loading, shipping, and receiving areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining attentive to operational conditions that may impact security-related procedures at the location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
