Security Officer Screening Overnight

About the role

As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal items in accordance with site policies and report screening-related concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established communication and escalation procedures.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity to help support security-related operations and site rules.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance, access, and/or policy issues.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be willing to undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
