What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Screen people, packages, bags, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with posted policies and documented security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required logs, reports, and communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, screening areas, entry points, dock areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
