About the role

As a Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Wahiawa, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy food and beverage location, where you will help monitor entry activity, perform screening procedures, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or personal items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and report concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Monitor access points, check credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized entry within the location.
  • Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, which may include sales floor areas, entrances, loading zones, storage spaces, and parking areas.

Requirements

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
