Security Officer Entry Screening Coordinator

As a Security Officer Entry Screening Coordinator in Claymont, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. This role offers the opportunity to stay visible, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Screen visitors, staff, and/or permitted items at designated entry points by following posted access procedures and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when appropriate.
- Monitor entrances, waiting areas, and/or public access points to help support orderly movement throughout the location and help to deter unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with duties and working conditions that may vary by location.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Skills
- Customer service experience.
- Computer or tablet proficiency.
- Alarm panel experience.
- Access control and/or badge experience.
