About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with site protocols, and report unusual findings or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, noting suspicious activity, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations that may need attention.
- Document screening results, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or first responders as needed.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
Skills
- Security-related experience.
- X-Ray screening experience (preferred).
- Alarm panel experience (preferred).
- Access control and badge experience (preferred).
- Loss prevention experience (preferred).
