Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering designated areas; verify credentials, inspect authorized items as required, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points, screening equipment, and designated operational areas to help identify prohibited items, unauthorized entry, or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and screening areas.

Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications for this position include a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
