Security Officer Screening

About the role

As a Security Officer Screening in Port Saint Lucie, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or packages in accordance with site procedures, including verification of access credentials and inspection of permitted items.
• Maintain a visible, professional presence, support access procedures, communicate clearly with site personnel, and provide outstanding customer service.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Skills

• Security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience.
• X-ray screening experience.
