Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post instructions and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity through required documentation and/or communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, access points, screening areas, and perimeter, noting conditions that could impact operations or require security-related follow-up.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and policy violations by monitoring entry activity, verifying credentials and/or shipping-related documentation, and maintaining awareness of movement throughout the location.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
