Security Officer School Route Driver

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and assist with checking credentials, visitor procedures, and/or entry restrictions in accordance with location guidelines.
- Support school operations during arrivals, departures, events, and/or after-hours activity by maintaining a visible presence and communicating security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
