About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Route Driver in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. This part-time role allows you to build a flexible schedule and explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service at a busy retail location.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Guard card/license is preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Pay

$15.00 / hour

Schedule

  • Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
