Job Description

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a School in Everett MA. Fridays 7 AM - 3 PM (With option for more shifts). Starting Pay is $21.04 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training.

How This Role Works

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or families by carrying out site-specific procedures, school policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, student or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, directing individuals appropriately and reporting unusual or concerning activity to designated school personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to school administrators, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal management as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
