Security Officer Roving Patrol Clearance Required

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help identify unauthorized activity and/or potential security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or restricted area concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Support a professional presence at an aerospace and defense location by following post orders, communicating clearly with site personnel, and assisting with security-related procedures during routine operations and/or critical events.

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
