Security Officer Roving Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, offices, parking areas, and/or perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vendor activity in accordance with site rules and post instructions.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel by communicating relevant information, documenting incidents, and following directions for routine and emergency situations.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
