Job Description

As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Lenoir, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading technology data center location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a professional and welcoming atmosphere, and help to deter security-related incidents through visibility and strong communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, server support areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support access control processes for employees, guests, and delivery personnel.
• Aid with incident reporting, policy reminders, and communication with site contacts during operational disruptions, maintenance activity, and/or emergency events.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
