Security Officer - Route Inspection

About the role

As a Security Officer - Route Inspection in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Professional at a corporate property, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Skills

• Ability to respond calmly to incidents and critical situations.
• Computer and tablet proficiency is preferred.
• Customer service skills are preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badges is preferred.
