Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
- Support retail location operations by reporting hazards, assisting with access control, and following post orders related to opening, closing, and after-hours activity.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
