Security Officer Residential Gate Access Control

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, security-related concerns, and/or maintenance issues.
• Monitor entry points, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, visitor assistance, and compliance with property rules and post instructions.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or notable conditions, and relay important information during shift changes and to Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
