About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location in Delray Beach, FL, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support residents and visitors with professional customer service. You will communicate clearly, document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools, and work collaboratively with Allied Universal teammates while demonstrating reliability, agility, innovation, care, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, property concerns, and/or access issues.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and resident entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming residential environment and communicating relevant information to property personnel and/or emergency responders.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

$15.92 / Hour

• Monday: 11:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tuesday: 03:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wednesday: 11:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thursday: 03:15 PM - 10:30 PM
