Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.
• Safeguard the welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and unusual activity through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
