Security Officer - Community Patrol Driver
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional, welcoming atmosphere through strong communication and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related operations throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, screen visitors and/or deliveries as directed, and report unauthorized or suspicious activity in accordance with post instructions.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
