As a Security Officer Residential Community Control Access in New York, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Schedule

Day Time: Thursday, 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and maintenance or property concerns accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
