About the role

Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will help create a welcoming presence, monitor access activity, support security-related procedures, and assist tenants and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor front desk operations, manage visitor access, and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, maintaining sign-in records, and communicating with building contacts as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, and provide directions or general building information while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns in the lobby and entry areas.
  • Prepare detailed activity and incident reports, document unusual events, and relay important information during shift changes to support continuity of front desk operations.

Requirements

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
