Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, visitor management processes, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor access to the facility from the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
- Maintain awareness of front desk activity and report suspicious behavior, access concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
- Support a welcoming healthcare environment by providing information, managing incoming calls and/or deliveries, and assisting with security-related administrative tasks.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
