Security Officer - Reception Associate

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location where you will serve as the welcoming first point of contact at the front desk. In this stationary role, you will help monitor access, support badge procedures, assist visitors and team members, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, greeting visitors, verifying access credentials, and directing guests, vendors, and/or associates as appropriate.
• Monitor entry activity, review identification and/or visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence and adherence to location protocols.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete required reports, document security-related events, and relay important information during shift changes to support continuity of front desk operations.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Skills

• Access control and badge experience.
