Security Officer Reception Access Control
About the Role
As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Access Control in Weehawken, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a premier commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control, support badge procedures, and provide outstanding customer service. You will maintain a professional, visible presence while helping to deter security-related incidents and communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and staff. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and vendors at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Greet and screen visitors, verify appointments and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
- Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communication equipment; report unusual activity or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with building management and emergency responders as appropriate.
- Assist with front desk administrative duties, including answering phones, directing guests, receiving deliveries, and providing clear information about building access and amenities.
Requirements
- CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour
Schedule
Day Time: Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sun: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
