As a Security Officer Radio Communications in Cumberland, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatcher in a healthcare location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and dispatch personnel to support a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain clear and timely communication, and help address security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Monitor communication channels, alarms, and dispatch systems; receive calls for service and coordinate responses by appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, service requests, communications, and other security-related activities accurately and in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
