Security Officer PT Saturday and Sunday -Moorestown, NJ

About the role

On-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, helping safeguard people, property, and information. The ideal candidate will be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic while adhering to our core values: Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

This position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. Security Officers preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. They frequently provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation
• Secure entrances and patrol inside and outside the client’s premises
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity
• Provide detailed written witness reports
• Mobile patrol/Foot Patrol

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Standard computer/technology skills
• Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Ability to conduct patrols throughout shift
• Great attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout shift
• Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history

Previous security experience highly preferred.

Pay

$19.06 per hour

Schedule

Saturday and Sunday

• 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
