About the role

This opening is for the Overnight Shift: 10PM - 6AM. Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! Work with an awesome overnight team while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant vigilance to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and property.
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Enforce and adhere to State Lottery Regulations, Internal Controls, and company Policies & Procedures.
• Enforce security procedures at all assigned posts.
• Assist in the transfer of monies from one area to another.
• Patrol grounds in a security vehicle as assigned.
• Promote outstanding customer relations.
• Promote honesty and trust amongst the team.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required and must meet the requirements of company Motor Vehicle Policy.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and execute written, verbal, and demonstrated directions, explanations, and guidance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. without difficulty, repeatedly.
• Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
