Unarmed Security Officers

• Work Environment and Schedule: Job operates in client sites which could be indoors, outdoors or both, depending on assignment. Position may require prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities. The role may require the ability to remain standing at a fixed post for extended periods of time with limited opportunities to sit, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role may require the ability to perform continuous foot patrols for long distances while maintaining situational awareness, with or without reasonable accommodation. The position may require the ability to lift and carry up to 30-50 pounds safely and repeatedly. The role may require the ability to work at elevated heights, including safely ascending and descending ladders, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role may require the ability to respond rapidly to incidents, which may involve quick movement, prolonged standing, or rapid changes in direction, with or without reasonable accommodation. The position may require the ability to drive company or client vehicles for long periods of time when assigned. The role may require the ability to safely operate golf carts or similar utility vehicles. Some assignments may require bicycle patrol for long periods of time. The position may include other physically demanding tasks as required by the post, e.g., restraining individuals, breaking seals on semi-trailers, opening secured containers, and other tasks as needed. Work may require to be available for various shifts and Holidays as assigned. The role may require to perform additional ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assignment.
