Security Officer - Property Access

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or other assigned areas, assisting with access-related procedures and reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols.
• Support day-to-day site operations by communicating professionally with occupants and guests, following post orders, and completing required activity logs and/or incident reports.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
