Security Officer Processing Facility Full Time

About the role

As a Full Time Badge Patrol Security Officer in Prince George, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support access control activities. This role delivers exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and help deter unauthorized entry, theft, trespassing, and other security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred qualifications: Comfortable using a computer or tablet, customer service experience, and access control/badge experience.

$15.96 / hour

• Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
