About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Moncks Corner, SC, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor the movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles, verifying authorized access and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Requirements

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
