Security Officer (Pool)

Position Purpose

The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property. Is responsible for fire prevention and initial response measures.

Maintains Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Previous hospital-based security position preferred
• Valid Driver's License in good standing required
• Fingerprints and Child Abuse Clearance required upon hire

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains safety practices in the area of his/her assignment. Has oversight of the SOC (Security Operations Center). Conducts the Duties and responsibilities associated with the Metal Detector.
