As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol Driver with clearance required in Roy, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace/defense. As a part‑time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. In this driving unarmed patrol officer role at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting while delivering exceptional customer service and communicating professionally with personnel and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, exits, and other required information.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other security‑related documentation while communicating observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Valid driver’s license (required per Allied Universal driver policy).
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation (federal, state, local laws).
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing subject to state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
