Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior work areas, loading and receiving zones, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations in accordance with site expectations.
• Support loss prevention and operational goals by observing package movement, reporting suspicious behavior, and assisting with traffic flow, access control, and after-hours building checks.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications
