Position Purpose
The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients, families, visitors, and property. This role includes fire prevention and initial response measures.
Responsibilities
- Maintains safety practices in the area of assignment.
- Oversees the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Performs duties associated with the Metal Detector.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Previous hospital-based security position preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing required.
- Fingerprints and Child Abuse Clearance required upon hire.

Schedule
Part-time, pool as-needed with varied shifts including weekends.
