About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Middletown, RI, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming, professional environment while supporting site procedures and working collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
