Security Officer Patrol Unit

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic construction location, where you will drive throughout assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help support site rules and report concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete routine reports and communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal teams regarding incidents, activities, and/or site needs.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
